The Scorecard: World Cup Signal Performance by Stage
DG3 posted 72 Signal on X across the World Cup and hit 52, a 72.2 percent hit rate overall. DG3’s esports Signals closed July at 69 positions with a 66.7% hit rate.

The Group Stage carried the bulk of the volume and the lowest hit rate on the sheet at 65.9 percent, exactly what you’d expect from the noisiest stage of a 48-team tournament. The sheet tightened every round after: 77.8 percent in the Round of 32, 87.5 percent in the Round of 16, 2 for 2 in the Quarterfinals.
DG3’s esports signals closed July at 69 positions, a 66.7 percent hit rate, and 18.3 percent profit on equal sizing, with the average signal going off at 56 cents. The ones worth naming went off well below that: eSuba over Misa Esports at 33 cents, Lil Mix at plus 1.5 against G2 Ares at 34 cents, ThunderTalk Gaming at plus 1.5 against BLG at 34 cents, and 9z on Map 1 against Furia at 36 cents. Four signals under 40 cents, close to a 3x return on the position.

Trader Spotlight: July’s Biggest Movers
Behind every dollar of volume is a trader making an actual decision based on analytics the terminal provides, and July had two worth pulling out by name.

QuantumCapital: the biggest single trade of July. On July 29, one account placed $153K+ on Team Heretics at 94 cents in a single order, the largest individual trade anywhere in DG3’s July data. It sat inside his broader $490K+ esports book built across 32 trades and eight matches, almost entirely on favourites in the 83 to 99 cent range. That’s real conviction, not a longshot chase.
The strategy underneath it is worth naming. QuantumCapital never bought a single underdog in July. Every position sat in the 83 to 99 cent range, the price a trader pays when the edge is small but the confidence is high, the same logic behind DG3’s Kelly-based sizing in 1-Click Trade: trade more where the probability is highest, not where the payout looks most exciting on a screenshot. Run that across 32 trades and eight matches, and the volume compounds even when any single result looks unremarkable on its own.
itskkoma: the busiest book of July. Running two accounts, this trader placed 41 positions across football, tennis, baseball, esports, and MMA in July, sizing bets anywhere from $1 to $8,000 with no fixed relationship between stake and price.
Where QuantumCapital’s month was one large, concentrated read, itskkoma’s was volume through breadth, a position in nearly every category on the terminal rather than conviction in one. Put the two side by side and July’s real range shows up: one trader went deep on a single call, the other went wide across dozens. Neither is inherently right. They’re just different ways of using the same book.

Creators to Watch
Four creator trades stood out this month, both built on market structure rather than a gut feeling about who wins.
vijn_crypto ran a World Cup strategy that has nothing to do with predicting a final score, and it’s one of the sharpest reads DG3 saw all month. Buy the 1-1 line around 12 cents before kickoff, then sell it once the first goal lands. After a 1-0 goal, the market usually reprices the equalizer outcome higher almost immediately, and that repricing event is the trade, not the final result. The post pulled 44.5K impressions, easily one of the widest reach for the terminal.
0xTengen_ took a different kind of edge and walked followers through the full logic behind it, not just the number. $100 on England versus DR Congo landing under 3.5 total goals, built on a read of Tuchel’s control-first approach against a Congo side that had already frustrated Portugal and limited Colombia.
aydiee streams CS2 daily to close to 30K subscribers, averaging more than 25K views a session. The July 30 stream was the standout, sending 42 traders into the terminal on the night.
Sasha is running the larger of the two channels, close to 40K subscribers and more than 30K views per stream, also inside CS2. Bigger room, same game, and a good base for August to build on.
The Polyfactual Sit-Down
The month’s most interesting insights came from a 45-minute conversation on Polyfactual, where host Jon Lourie sat down for a chat with DG3’s co-founder and CEO, Ronit. The core idea driving it: serious traders already know what they want to trade, which is why DG3’s search bar behaves like a market lookup rather than a menu. Ronit also pointed to deeper correlation tools and the importance of in-terminal match streaming for esports – the markets don’t wait for you to catch up – price flips mid map, mid rounds. The terminal enables you to watch the round, watch the data, live and take your position in a click.

What Shipped: Terminal Updates in July
Six features shipped in a single Friday release, on top of a list that was already growing.
a) Soccer Match Centre: Intelligence Pane now carries full fixture context right inside the Deck: head to head, recent form, lineups, injury updates. Live view kicks in with kickoff, tracking stats, subs, and on-ball actions as the game moves.

b) Sharp Signals: Sharp money signals now live inside the Intelligence Pane. See where the informed side is positioned, before kickoff or during the match, and follow the flow.

c) Share Cards: Any market or trade from a trader’s history can now be pulled and posted in one tap, each card built specifically for that market or that entry. Open position sharing is next.

d) Mobile Signup: Account creation now works straight from a phone, with the rest of setup finishing later. First layer of the mobile build, with more to come.

e) Esports Live Streaming. Esports markets don’t wait for anyone to catch up, price flips mid-map, mid-round. Livestream now runs directly inside the Deck, with Edge Finder and Match Centre sitting right next to it. Watch the round. Watch the data. Take the position in a click.

f) Ladderbook. A price ladder sits directly on the Polymarket order book for a single outcome, showing live depth on both sides, a trader’s own resting orders inline, and one-click market or limit entry.

On Deck: What to Watch in August
Esports leads the calendar. DOTA 2’s TI, the biggest event on that game’s schedule, headlines the month alongside every major LoL regional circuit and CS2’s EWC and Blast Porto. Traditional sports bring their own volume this time: Europe’s top soccer leagues return within days of each other, La Liga on August 15, the Premier League on August 22, Serie A on August 23, and the Bundesliga on August 28, alongside WNBA’s regular season and an NFL preseason that opens on Aug 7 with the trade window already active. Three Things That Cost Traders Money in July
a) Holding through the repricing window instead of trading it. Traders who bought a match total and held it through 90 minutes left value on the table compared to vijn_crypto’s approach of trading the event, not the outcome. The information in a 1-0 scoreline is worth more in the five minutes after it happens than at any other point in the match.
b) Sizing esports like a $5 million soccer moneyline. Blast Bounty Season 2’s run of upsets punished traders who sized CS2 map handicaps the way they would a Group Stage soccer market. Esports books moved 15 to 20 cents on far less capital, and a few traders learned that the hard way.
c) Not every trader has QuantumCapital’s bankroll, and a few found that out the hard way in July. The favorite-buying approach above only works at scale because the capital behind it can absorb $153K+ moving on a single match. Traders who copied the same 90-cent buy-ins at a fraction of that size turned a low-variance strategy into real bankroll risk the moment one favorite slipped.
Worth Reading This Month
Three posts from the DG3 blog worth bookmarking if you missed them the first time.
Market Making on Polymarket: How to Earn the Spread : How to Earn the Spread breaks down the other side of the trade most recaps ignore, the traders quoting both sides of a market rather than picking a direction. If QuantumCapital’s approach this month looked more like liquidity provision than a directional bet, this is the piece that explains why that style of trading exists and how the spread actually gets earned.
2030 World Cup Odds: The Complete Early Favorites List : The Complete Early Favorites List is the long-view companion to this issue’s Scorecard. July’s picks were graded stage by stage against a tournament already underway. This one looks four years out, mapping where the futures markets already sit before a single qualifier has been played.
The Best Polymarket Tools in 2026: What Serious Traders Are Actually Using : What Serious Traders Are Actually Using is the practical follow-up to everything in this month’s What Shipped section. Home Page Revamp, Search Profiles, Ladderbook, and the rest all sit inside a wider toolkit, and this piece is the map of what that toolkit looks like heading into August.
What’s Next
July gave DG3 its first full month of data worth working with. 72 World Cup signals, 69 esports positions, a $153K+ single position, and six features that went live. The signals that paid best went off under 40 cents, the traders who did well had a defined approach and held to it, and every feature shipped took something the terminal already did and made it faster to reach.
August is heavier on every front. TI runs alongside every major LoL circuit and two CS2 majors, four European soccer leagues restart inside a two-week window, and the NFL preseason opens on August 7 with the trade window already moving futures. More markets open at once in August than July ever had running. We’ll be shipping through it, and the numbers get published the same way next month, misses included.
